Mirus Bio的大部分轉(zhuǎn)染試劑可以在含有血清的培養(yǎng)基中進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)染,省去了更換培養(yǎng)基的麻煩。TransIT-L1是Mirus產(chǎn)品的王牌,自1995年開(kāi)發(fā)出來(lái)就申請(qǐng)了美國(guó)專(zhuān)利(US 5,744,335)。該項(xiàng)專(zhuān)利技術(shù)后來(lái)License給了Roche公司,以Fugene 6的品牌對(duì)外銷(xiāo)售。
TransIT-TKO & siQUEST轉(zhuǎn)染試劑是常規(guī)siRNA轉(zhuǎn)染試劑的王牌,與脂質(zhì)體介導(dǎo)的轉(zhuǎn)染試劑相比,該轉(zhuǎn)染試劑可以高效轉(zhuǎn)染siRNA,并且極大地降低了細(xì)胞的損傷程度。該試劑與siRNA混合轉(zhuǎn)染細(xì)胞時(shí),可以特異性剔除某些基因的表達(dá),用于siRNA介導(dǎo)的基因沉默現(xiàn)象的研究。

Mirus Bio的科學(xué)家們新近開(kāi)發(fā)了一種新的DNA轉(zhuǎn)染試劑:TransITTM-2020 Transfection Reagent。TransITTM的性能優(yōu)于FuGENETM、LipofectamineTM 2000和 LipofectamineTM 2000 CD;可在多種類(lèi)型的細(xì)胞(包括難轉(zhuǎn)染細(xì)胞)中實(shí)現(xiàn)高表達(dá)。
